Practicing Honor

What does honor mean? Adopting God's viewpoint on someone and actively responding to the worth that God has placed on them is what it means to honor them. Honoring God is unquestionably the first step in exercising honor.

Honor God

We regularly give to God in the form of tithes and offerings. However, I want to offer you another method to serve God: by being true to your mission! The initial intention that drove God to create you at this very moment is known as purpose. To put it another way, the "who" and "what" of your life have a "why." We all get preoccupied with establishing our individual identities, including our roles, titles, and places. I work as a teacher, doctor, lawyer, butcher, baker, candlestick maker, mom, spouse, business owner, and musician! The truth is that the who, what, when, and where of your life all have a "why." Your "why" is what makes you "who" you are.

We each have a reason from birth! We are intentional beings created by the universe's creator with a specific purpose in mind; we are neither accidents nor the result of chance. Take note of the things God had planned for you to do before you were even created! To put it another way, He determined your why and then gave you the skills you need to live out that why. This indicates that you have what it takes to achieve your goal. You have what it takes since he has given you the talent, ability, intelligence, appearance, voice, and inventiveness. However, you must take what God has given you and use it for His glory, that is, in ways that glorify Him, if you want your purpose to honor Him.

Honor Everyone

Every individual, not simply those who are excellent, worthy, strong, significant, influential, or who can assist you in any manner. Or, to put it another way, even people who are broke and unable to help you in return. Honor everyone. Imagine living in a society where individuals behaved honorably; picture your workplace, government, and church like that.
